We will start accepting applications for the 2011 Miss Africa USA Pageant on April 1 2010.
If you wish to participate in the next pageant, you are adviced to apply online as soon as you can.
CLOSING DATE FOR 2011 PAGEANT IS September 20 2010.
After filing your application form, you must submit the registration fee of $100 for your application to be processed. You will not be considered without completing this payment.
Please review the information below to learn about the participation process. To become a delegate you must follow the guidelines as stated below. This information is subject to change per pageant management, however you will be kept informed of any changes.
PHASE 1 : APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION
Register online and submit 3 professional photos of you, one headshot and two full body shots.
Your photos will be rejected if they are not professional and you must look your best.
PHASE 2: AUDITION VIDEO
Submit a 5-8 minute video of yourself
You may submit the video via any online video network or mail the DVD to the Pageant Office, address is on the Contact Page.
In your video: you describe yourself, career, ambitions, hobbies, humanitarian interests.
Your video should capture your whole body not just your face.
You will be contacted by pageant management if you are successful to move on to the next round within 2 weeks of receiving your audition video.
PHASE 3: SEMI FINALS EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP AND PAGEANT BOOTCAMP:
At this stage you are on your way to becoming a finalist at the Grand Finale.
All semi finalists are required to attend.
You get to meet all other contestants in the running.
Participate in workshop: Present a micro-project that benefits a community in need in Africa or the United States.
Participate in Pageant training by Production team

Semi Finals Ball in honor of all Semi Finalists.
You will be judged throughout the Semi Finals.
Results will be made available 2 weeks after Semi Finals. All finalists are notified at this time.
Judging Criteria at Semi Finals:
* General Presentation
* Grooming
* Presentation of a realistic Micro Project
* Self-Confidence
* Overall Appearance
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MISS AFRICA USA PAGEANT
1. You must be aged between 18-27 years by the pageant finals date (July 2010)
2. You must have at least one parent who is originally from an African country.
3. You must be either a college student, a graduate intending to pursue further education and self advancement, a professional or a person who is looking to go back to school.
4. You must be single, with no children
